The same root can wear a very different face.

Sleep and airway problems do not always announce themselves in the same way.
The classic picture
Many people associate sleep-disordered breathing with a man who snores loudly and falls asleep during the day.
But another presentation exists
Some women may present more prominently with:
- poor or fragmented sleep
- fatigue
- headache or migraine
- jaw pain
- insomnia-like complaints
- mood or concentration changes
This can make the airway connection easier to overlook.
The lesson
Do not screen only for the stereotype.
Become AirwayAware
The symptom may be different; the question remains the same: How well are you breathing and recovering during sleep?
