The airway lives inside a moving body.

Try breathing while slumped forward. Then sit comfortably upright and notice what changes.
The airway lives inside a moving body
Head, neck, jaw, tongue, hyoid, rib cage and diaphragm do not function as isolated pieces.
When breathing is difficult, the body may recruit additional muscles or alter head and neck position to make breathing easier.
Cause or compensation?
That is the important question — and it may differ from person to person.
Posture should not be blamed for every airway problem, and airway should not be blamed for every postural problem.
