Who he is
Dr. Kedar Bakshi has practised dentistry for 29 years and leads Sai Smile Dental Care in Vasai East. He graduated from the Government Dental College & Hospital, Mumbai, trained in orthodontics in Spain, and in implantology with the ISOI, the ICOI (USA) and the DGI curriculum in Germany.
He is the inventor of OsseoSure, a piston-driven mechanical osteotome system. He holds India's first implant design patent and India's first oral appliance patent for sleep apnoea. He founded the Implant4U Study Group, which has helped many dentists move confidently into implantology.
His airway work begins with one idea: the mouth is the front door of the airway, and the dentist looks inside it every day. AirwayAware brings that screening and teaching to anyone with a phone. It screens; it never diagnoses.
